Carlitos Tévez

Carlos Alberto Tévez; born on 5 February 1984 is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a forward for English club Manchester City and is currently the team's captain. He has previously played for Boca Juniors, Corinthians, West Ham United and Manchester United.
He transferred to Manchester City in the 2009–10 summer transfer window, becoming the first player to move between the two clubs since Terry Cooke in 1999. His energy and goal scoring rate has since made an indispensable player for the club in the eyes of fellow players and media alike, his importance was marked by promotion to captain at the beginning of the 2010-2011 season by manager Roberto Mancini.
His career has been dogged by a long-standing affair with Media Sports Investments, the company which owned the rights of Tévez, and several other players and coaches. This eventually resulted in West Ham United being fined over issues regarding third-party ownership. He has made over 50 appearances for the Argentina national team, scoring 12 goals.

Diego Forlán

Diego Juventud Forlán Corazo; born 19 May 1979 in Montevideo is a Uruguayan footballer who currently plays for La Liga side Athletic Madrid and the Uruguayan national team, as a striker. He is a two-time winner of both the Pichichi Trophy and the European Golden Shoe, and also received the Golden Ball as the best player at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
In his first season in Spanish football, Forlán scored 25 league goals and won the Pichichi Trophy. After two more successful seasons with Villarreal, Forlán joined Atlético Madrid, where he once again became the league's top scorer, and became the first player to win the Pichichi Trophy twice since Ronaldo achieved this feat in 2003-2004.
Forlán also has a successful international career, in which he has scored 29 times for his country. He scored once at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea and Japan, and five times at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, in which he scored twice against the host nation South Africa, once against Ghana in the quarter-finals, once against the Netherlands in the semi-finals and once against Germany in the third place play-off. Despite scoring 5 goals, Forlan did not receive the Golden Boot, because Thomas Müller was ahead of him on assists, with 3. He was recognized by receiving the Golden Ball award, given to the best player at the tournament.

Thierry Henry

Thierry Daniel Henry; born 17 August 1977 is a French professional footballer who plays for the New York Red Bulls in Major League Soccer.
Henry was born in Les Ulis, Essonne where he played for an array of local sides as a youngster and showed great promise as a goal-scorer. He was spotted by AS Monaco in 1990 and signed instantly, making his professional debut in 1994. Good form led to an international call-up in 1998, after which he signed for the Serie A defending champions Juventus. He had a disappointing season playing on the wing, before joining Arsenal for £10.5 million in 1999.
It was at Arsenal that Henry made his name as a world-class footballer. Despite initially struggling in the Premier League, he emerged as Arsenal's top goal-scorer for almost every season of his tenure there. Under long-time mentor and Coach Arsène Wenger, Henry became a prolific striker and Arsenal's all-time leading scorer with 226 goals in all competitions. The Frenchman won two league titles and three FA Cups with the Gunners; he was nominated for the FIFA World Player of the Year twice, was named the PFA Players' Player of the Year twice, and the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year three times. Henry spent his final two seasons with Arsenal as club captain, leading them to the UEFA Champions League final in 2006. In June 2007, after eight years with Arsenal, he transferred to Barcelona for a fee of €24 million. His first honours with the Catalan club came in 2009 when they won the league, cup and Champions League treble. He went on to achieve an unprecedented sextuple by also winning the Spanish Supercup, the UEFA Supercup and the Club World Cup. In total, Henry has been named in the UEFA Team of the Year five times. In 2010, he joined New York Red Bulls.

Zlatan Ibrahimović

Zlatan Ibrahimović; born 3 October 1981 is a Swedish footballer who currently plays as a striker for Serie A club A.C. Milan and the Swedish national team.
Ibrahimović started his career at Malmö FF in the late 1990s under Roland Andersson. He was signed by Ajax, and made a name for himself under Ronald Koeman. Years later, he signed with Juventus for €16 million. Ibrahimović gained fame in Serie A while having a striking partnership with David Trézéguet. In 2006, he signed with league rival Internazionale, where he won individual awards such as the Oscar Del Calcio, the Guldbollen, and being named in the 2007 UEFA Team of the Year, in addition to finishing as the league's highest scorer in 2008–09 while winning three straight Scudetti. In the summer of 2009, he transferred to FC Barcelona before moving to A.C. Milan the next season.
As of February 2009, Ibrahimović and Kaká were the highest-paid football players in the world, each with an annual salary of €9 million. He currently holds the record for the second highest transfer fee in football history, with a total of €69 million for his transfer from Internazionale to Barcelona.

Samuel Eto'o

Samuel Eto'o Fils; born 10 March 1981 is a Cameroonian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Italian Serie A club Internazionale and is currently captain of the Cameroon national team. Eto'o trained at Kadji Sports Academy. He also holds a Spanish passport to enable him not to count among the 'foreign' players' in the European Union.
Eto'o scored over 100 goals in five seasons with FC Barcelona, and is also the record holder in number of appearances by an African player in La Liga. In 2010, he became the first player to win two European Continental Trebles following his back-to-back achievements with Barcelona and Internazionale. He is the second player to have ever scored in two separate UEFA Champions League finals and the fourth player, after Marcel Desailly, Paulo Sousa and Gerard Piqué, to have won the UEFA Champions League two years in a row with different teams. He is also, as of 22 May 2010, the most decorated African player of all time. Along with Clarence Seedorf he is one of only two players to win the UEFA Champions League with three separate teams, with Real Madrid in 2000 (though only playing three games and subsequently not receiving a winners' medal), twice with FC Barcelona in 2006 and 2009 and once with Internazionale in 2010. He is also the first ever player to win two trebles back to back.
As a member of the Cameroon national team, he was a part of the squad that won the 2000 Olympic tournament; he has participated in three World Cups and six African Nations Cups (being champion twice), and is the all-time leading scorer in the history of the African Nations Cup, with 18 goals.

Ronaldinho Gaúcho

Ronaldo de Assis Moreira; born 21 March 1980 in Porto Alegre, commonly known as Ronaldinho or Ronaldinho Gaúcho, is a Brazilian footballer who plays for Italian Serie A club A.C. Milan and the Brazilian national team. He is a free-kick specialist and has exceptional dribbling ability.
Ronaldinho, Portuguese for "Little Ronaldo," is known in Brazil by the nickname "Gaúcho," in order to distinguish him from Ronaldo, who was already called "Ronaldinho" in Brazil. Ronaldo simply went by his first name upon his move to Europe, thereby allowing Ronaldinho to drop the "Gaúcho" and remain simply as Ronaldinho.
Prior to his move to Milan, he played for Paris Saint-Germain and FC Barcelona, with whom he won his first Champions League in 2006 and he won the Ballon d'Or in 2005. He became a Spanish citizen in January 2007.
